About Us

Situated in the beautiful Bowbridge area of Stroud, just up from the canal. We are an ideal place to pop in for a coffee, pint or meal after a long day at work or a local walk. You can’t miss us from the main London Road and we have convenient parking to the rear of the pub. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the town centre, and it’s a nice place to stop before exploring the canal along Bowbridge Lock.

If you’d like to explore the area on foot, we are nestled in one of the beautiful Stroud Valleys. Go up one side of the valley following Bowbridge Lane and you can find The Heavens (a beautiful area of rolling fields and streams), or go up the other side and you’ll find Rodborough Common. We highly recommend a pit stop at Winstones Ice Cream Factory.
